Currently, we have Reishi and Lions Mane double extract tinctures available, with more in the works. All made in-house with the mushrooms and mycelium we grow on our farm.

Our extraction procedure is informed by age-old preparation methods while taking cues from the latest research on mushrooms and health. Each tincture is prepared a little differently.

Each Reishi Tincture bottle starts with 1oz of dried plus 1oz fresh Red “Rochester” Reishi grown on our farm. Dried mushrooms are ground and double extracted: First in reverse-osmosis water using a “hot rock” technique to rapidly increase temperature to unlock more active polysaccharides. The mushrooms are pressed and tinctured in Organic Cane Alcohol for 2 weeks, pressed again. We reduce both extracts, reclaiming the alcohol and concentrating the extracts. Finally, we preserve the extract in vegetable glycerin. The “triple-extract” comes in the form of cold-pressed freshly harvested reishi (which then go through the full double extract themselves). The idea is to preserve heat-sensitive compounds found in fresh, live mushrooms which may include enzymes
